Bulgarian Union of Tourism Investors promotes Bulgaria in Spain

The press center of Bulgarian Union of Tourism Investors (UTI) has started a huge advertising campaign in Spain to promote Bulgaria as an attractive tourist destination.

For the time being UTI has been presenting Bulgaria in the capital Madrid during the celebrations on the occasion of Europe day. Europe week there was opened up exhibitions of Bulgarian Cyrillic alphabet.

UTI has also presented a combined initiative to one of the biggest Spanish tourist companies HALCON Viajes, which had intended to start charter flights to Bulgaria during this summer.

Another task of the advertising project is Bulgaria to be presented as an appealing gold destination in Spain and attract to attract Spanish golf companies as investors.

Nowadays around 200 000 Bulgarians live in Spain as per the unofficial data. Until now Bulgaria has been known to the Spanish public mostly with its folk music, yogurt, and the legendary Barcelona FC player Hristo Stoichkov.
