Four persons paid one million each in taxes

Four Bulgarians paid over one million leva tax on their income from 2007 according to the data of National Revenue Agency. Two of the rich men are from Sofia and the other two are from Varna. All are with free professions, learned Standard Journal.

One of them is a lawyer and the other has won much of their money in transactions in securities. He has probably sold very profitably his shares of a company which is not traded on the exchange.

In his tax returns each of the four has declared more than 500 thousand BGL to pay later. As much money was paid again last year. Such large amounts at a stake of 24% are to be paid on annual for an income over 4.16 million BGL. Or any of the four major taxpayers is available with 350 thousand BGL per month.

The three taxpayers have paid their obligations in the treasury till 10 February and have received discount of 5%. One of those declarations was submitted through the Internet. The fourth wealthy man has also enjoyed discount of 5%. For the first time this year discount was given to all those who had submitted their declarations till the deadline - 30 April via the Internet with an electronic signature. The fourth large taxpayer benefited exactly from this right.
