Hashim Thaci: Serbia’s entry into NATO and the EU is in Kosovo’s interest

Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaci said in an interview for the Spanish newspaper "El Pais" that Serbia's entry into NATO and the EU is in Kosovo's interest, the closer Serbia is to Brussels, the nearer it will be to Pristina.
"We are ready to co-operate with Serbia as two independent states. It is in our interest that Serbia enters NATO and the EU, because the closer Serbia is to Brussels, the nearer it will be to Pristina", said Thaci. Kosovo Prime noted that after the parliamentary elections in Serbia, he had not expected major changes in the position of Belgrade on Kosovo.
