An extremely interesting week has finished as far as the moods on our capital market. Optimism of last week has passed in this one, too, to make way for consolidation of the levels in the indexes, such process has been observed in the recent days.
For a second consecutive time indexes have ended, albeit more modestly with an increase in their values on a weekly basis. Today SOFIX closed at 1250.12 points (-0.15 percent), or 2.15 percent above the level of May 17. For a week BG40 values have increased by 4.65% to 348.42 points. During today's session, the index of the most liquid companies lost 0.02%.
Positive change in BG REIT on a weekly basis is 2.47% of the actual 96.57 points, where BG TR30 from 3.91 percent to 842.3 points.
Like the end of the last week and today the turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange remained low. At 109 active positions, the turnover reached 3.73 million BGL. With the increase in the price of shares closed 53 of the traded companies. The block and other transactions were contracted for 2.15 million BGL.
Within BG40 the advantage was again on the side of the more expensive shares. Shares of 31 companies became more expensive on a weekly basis.
Surprise this week offered Polymers. Once the FSC rejected the prospectus of the company, the shares began to recover losses from February onwards. While today they closed at red, for a week they have become more expensive with 27.23% of the average 5.28 leva.
The increase in Moststroy continued almost throughout the week to increase the value of the company by 9.5% to 160.61 leva average per lot. Let us recall that in those days there were signals of political will for implementation of major infrastructure projects. This is happening against the background of negative news from Brussels for imposing more stringent conditions on the utilization of financial resources from the community.
Oil price continued with its records. Only for a week papers became more expensive with 8.22% of average 10.79 euro
Growth in the FIB on a weekly base is 2.25%, as shares of the bank today closed at the average 7.27 leva.
More than 1% went down the papers of four companies - Elana Agricultural Land Fund REIT (-2.25%, average 2.17 leva), Albena Invest Holding (-1.87%, average 15.18 leva), Devin (-1.41%, average 4.9 leva) and Evroins (-1.32%, average 8.97 leva).
