The US Army Command in charge of Europe is going to splurge USD 4,5 M for the joint US-Bulgarian military training program Bulgarian Panther 2008, which will go on from August 15th till October 17th, 2008 in Novo selo in Southeast Bulgaria.
Most of these money will be spent for providing foods and other services necessary for the logistics of the US soldiers during their stay in Bulgaria.
All this became clear after the public talks about the US-Bulgarian military assistance, which had taken place on Friday in the city of Yambol.
This event was arranged by the NATO Defense College Anciens' Association in Bulgaria and happened in the Yambol Military Club. High-ranking officials were from the American Embassy in Sofia, and the US Office for Bilateral Military Cooperation, as well as high Bulgarian military officers and officials were present there.
