Winter Resorts in Bulgaria have attracted 25% more tourists in 2008

Bulgarian winter resorts have been visited by 23, 4% more for in tourists for the period of January and February in comparison of the statistics for the same months in 2007.
Total revenue for the country from tourism in these months was € 97.8 million which is 19% more than the same period of 2007.
This data was submitted by the chairman of the State Agency of Tourism in Bulgaria Anelia Krushkova this week. She presented the data from a pool about going on vocation in the winter season in Bulgaria.
The data from the pool showed that 78% of the visited Bulgaria tourists were willing to recommend it to their friends as a nice tourist destination.
Despite this, some of them wished that Bulgarian winter resorts were quieter and the hotel personnel – more hospitable and apt to talk English.
Serbian and Macedonian tourists for the winter seasons in Bulgaria continue to decrease.
